Q: Which 'Queen On The Scene pin speaks to you the most?

Asexual Taste the Rainblow—it’s my identity pin and I LOVE it. Aside from the Taste the Rainblow collection, I live for the Every Gay is a Gift pin. I'm not a huge fan of glitter, but it doesn't shed and has just enough shine to catch people's attention. Plus, it's super subtle and I can wear it at my conservative workplace with no one the wiser.

What is your top destination to attend a pride festival in the United States? Why?

Portland area! I've got a bunch of queer friends up there in Oregon, and I've never been to the West Coast. Plus, mountains.

What is your top international destination? Why?

Ooooooh. … I haven't thought about this before! Off the top of my head, I'd probably say Sao Paulo, Brazil, because the episode in “Sense8” (Season 2, Episode 6) made it seem amazing and beautiful.

Queen On The Scene based in Sioux Falls, SD, is home to custom enamel pride pins and more. Meet the owner, Quinn.

Q: What Queen pin speaks to you the most?

A: Well, so ok, every pin has a story and they're all my favorites first and foremost, however, my top favorite is the 'Take It Up With My Middle Finger' pin. It was my first pin and so it'll always have a special place in my gay heart.

Q: What does fierce mean to you?

A: For me, fierce is about being the type of person who has a deep drive to leave this world a better place than when they found it. Someone who is fierce refuses to take bullshit from those who put others down just to lift themselves up. Fierce is being able to look in the mirror everyday and be proud of who you see looking back at you.

Q: What is your top destination to attend a pride festival in the United States?

A: Oh this is an easy one: ALL👏OF👏THEM👏. If you have a pride festival in your city, I want to know about it. I will add it to the list and see which team member can rep the booth. Have pride, will travel!

Q: What is your top international destination?

Well, so this one has been in the planning for a bit already. Drum roll, please...Winnipeg, Canada, just 10 hours north from Sioux Falls up I-29!
